 HOME OF GRAMS GOLDEN RETRIEVERS
A few of my grandchildren
A few of my grandchildren
We live on 8 acres in east central Iowa where our goldens are pampered and can run and play.  When they are not supervised, they still can run together in large converted hogs lots with plenty of room to run.  We believe that it's important for them to be with us and together as much as possible.  My husband and I are retired so we are here everyday to take good care of them.  I work closely with my Vet, Dr. Susan Schares and her staff, Heidi and Emily, at Woodland Vet just a couple miles away from us.  My goldens are given shots and heartwormed along with annual visits to my Vet. Our goldens have to pass important health clearances before breeding to ensure you will have a healthy puppy. My puppies are born in the house where their births are supervised closely by me. They have their dew claws removed, shots, wormed and health checked all by my Vet before going to their new forever homes.  I take my goldens to obedience classes where my friend Andrea helps me socialize and train each one. Our goldens are part of our family and each take turns being with us in our home.
We also have 4 adult daughters who have given us 7 beautiful grandchildren ranging from age 2 to 16.  We live close to all our children and enjoy regular visits from our family.  We also have two horses, one pony, a donkey and three farm cats.   Our grandchildren love to stay at GRAMS and Gramps whenever they can.
